Today at Perisher

Sunny laps on repeat!

We're set for another bluebird day here at Perisher. It's currently -2°C in the Perisher Valley and we're headed for a top of 9°C. Winds will be a light south to southwesterly, 15 to 20km/h.

While it wasn't a super cold night, the low humidity still gave the snowguns another really solid run, with 200 guns firing across the resort.

Yesterday, Lawson T-Bar opened so we have 27 lifts scheduled to run. It will be another firm and fast day on the groomers with more man-made snow on top. There are 32 groomed runs across the resort.

The Mountain Operations team continue to work their magic, and we may have some more lifts come online over the coming days. As always, keep an eye on the lift status report for real-time updates, and make sure you've got notifications turned on in the Perisher App, so you get notified as soon as any new major lifts open.

Today is the last day of Sydney Interschools with racing again on Front Valley and Leichhardt - most of the races should be finished by the early afternoon. We also have Volkl, Atomic and Black Crows demoing all the latest gear, so go and say hi to the crew between the Perisher Centre and the Skitube bridge. For entertainment, we've got live music at Blue Cow from 11:30am, Jax from 2:30pm, and Mid Station from 12pm bringing the good vibes to the mountain.

Enjoy the sunshine and have a great day!

*Natural snow depth is supplemented with snowmaking in certain areas. Natural snow depth is measured at roughly 1,830m by Snowy Hydro Limited who have invested in new instrumentation across the Snowy Scheme and can now provide more frequent snow depth readings at a site close to the Spencers Creek snow course. This near real-time snow depth information is available HERE.
